The Maine Souvenir Shop is a vibrant, unique retail brand where everything is made or designed by someone from Maine. With two brick and mortar locations and a quirky, fun identity, the shop needed an ecommerce website that could match its personality, sync seamlessly with in-store inventory, and serve as an engaging online shopping destination.
Their existing website didn’t reflect the shop’s creative spirit and made online sales difficult to manage. They needed something that was both technically sound and visually unique.
Our Solution
We built a fully customized ecommerce website that synced with their POS system, allowing real-time inventory management across both retail locations and the online store. To make the site as distinctive as the shop itself, we collaborated with one of their featured artists to create a custom font made entirely from hand-drawn letters, numbers, and emojis. This one-of-a-kind typeface gave the site a playful and authentic Maine-made vibe.
Beyond the design, we implemented On Page SEO to help boost visibility and optimized the site for performance, user experience, and mobile responsiveness. Throughout the project, we kept the team informed with clear communication on timelines and post-launch support.
